rest of the weekend
after Friday’s fish fry, there was some marry making to be had. we met up with some friends for happy hour for some beers on the patio. I always enjoy sitting outside with friends watching the world go by, as I can be an avid people watcher, and there are always a good mix of people walking on Lyndale avenue on nice days.Dave was in the hankering for a stake, so he took some of us out to the Monticarlo. it was not crowed at all, people must have been observing the no meat on good Friday thing. We all had a good time and enjoyed ourselves greatly, not to mention eating like pigs, the girls had the fillet, except shae, she had fried chicken since she is not a beef eater, dave and I had the new york stripe. from there we all went our separate ways and I crashed hard.Saturday was laid back, went for a killer long bike ride and did some art and house work and finished up taxes, then wondered to Stella’s house for a bbq. I was tired so I left early. Sunday was brunch with the folks which was uneventful and then to filio for early evening get out of the house thing, joked with varying strangers who all seemed in good moods and talked a little politics too.yesterday took the bike out for a bit, and grilled pork chops and green beans, oh so good! first grilling of the season, I think I will do a roast soon, I am getting better at the grill, but must still learn a lot!friday eveningshae and annenew downtown library opening soon as seen from my bikearbby's from parking lot by stelle's house, also you will not the liqour store is convenently to close to the party, another reason to leave early
