you may have noticed

the last several entries have been more written based then i normally do, some of you may be wondering why? the simple fact is i really want to regain some confidence in my writing and writing style. i need to re-articulate my and improve my writing. the biggest reason for this is i am thinking very seriously about graduate school to get my mfa. something i do not talk about a whole lot is that when i was a kid i had some learning disabilities. speech, reading and spelling were my areas of difficulty, and i still have major troubles with spelling. i think the severity was heightened because i was in the highest level classes in the early part of elementary, so i feel i messed some basics at an important part of my development. by 4th or 5th grade i was in the lowest level classes. by high school i was in special classes for english along with the regular english classes that were offered. 9th grade i read at a 5-6th grade level.well this is the time i discovered d&d and fantasy books, and started to read ferociously. by the time i graduated i was reading at my grade level and my vocabulary was much higher then most of the people i knew. i still stumble and i read rather slowly but i have a wonderful understanding of what i read. i also have a quirky way of writing, but i don't like to sound like everyone else so i am fine with it!
